This years festival season has been a success. We set out to cater for three of the biggest metal festivals in the UK, and not only rose to the challenge, but surpassed expectation.

At Download Festival 2014, not only were we a big hit with the crowds, but we proved that our aftercare service works, and saw many clients returning to ensure that they had the best possible outcome on their piercing and tattoos. We made some lifelong friends, both traders and clients alike and we look forward to returning next year looking less like something from a Carry On film.

In total, with three days full trading, Wayne, our Tattoo Artist, did over 80 tattoos (Most of them “Download Dogs” and Hayley over 150 piercings. It was a long weekend, but well worth the effort.

Sonisphere 2014 met it’s own set of challenges. |firstly we decided to upgrade out front of shop which proved a great idea as the winds decided that we were meant to be in Oz. We did some great custom pieces, Wayne’s favourite being Crash bandicoot’s AKU AKU, on Big Ben, the “Hugging Rocker”. The people were great, and again we could not physically squeeze in any more booking for tattoos or piercing.

Despite our attempts to goading Metallica’s James Hetfield into getting more ink, we didn’t get the chance to meet him. Theres always next time.

Sonisphere led to the training and unleashing of Josh, under the watchful gaze of Hayley as a second piercer. The young JedI has done well and is firmly a permanent fixture on the team.

At bloodstock we felt a different vibe. By far the heaviest of the festivals and also the smallest. This was by no means a quiet weekend though. Craig and Ash, our favourite clients came for several pieces, and the custom game was upped into some slightly larger pieces. The front was upgraded again to cope with the volume of punters and the weather, and as it turned out, was a good call! Again the people were great, traders and clients alike and we look forward to returning next year.

In summary, after a busy summer, we were knackered but overwhelmed by the friendliness of the Rocking community. All ages and walks of life came and went and we did our best to get to everyone.
